Véronique Le Sourd, Senior Research Engineer, EDHEC-Risk Climate

Véronique Le Sourd is a senior research engineer with the EDHEC-Risk Climate Impact Institute. Her research focus is on performance measurement, indices and benchmarks, socially responsible investment and environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues. She was previously a researcher at Misys Asset Management Systems, a research assistant within the Finance and Economics Department of HEC Business School and before this a financial engineer at asset management specialist Arcas. Véronique holds a Masters in Applied Mathematics from the Pierre and Marie Curie University in Paris, a PhD in Finance from the University of Nice-Sophia Antipolis and is a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst. She has published articles on performance measurement, indices and SRI / ESG. Véronique’s research has been published in many academic journals including The Journal of Portfolio Management and Investment Management Review. She has contributed to many books on portfolio management and performance measurement, including co-authoring four volumes with Professor Noël Amenc.
